Planning for my Alaska trip......

In a few months, I'm going to Alaska. I know there will be plenty of beautiful landscape, waterscape and animal photo opportunities and I plan on doing some fishing. So, I'm doing a little planning on what to take and on top of the list is my Canon 810 camera. I've been thinking that a Gopro camera would be a nice addition, but I'm not wanting to spend $300-$400. The next best option is a knock-off brand, such as an Akaso action camera EK700, which is waterproof. A friend of mine has one and recommended it to me.
I just purchased the camera. The best thing, it was for less than $100. I also purchase a kit that included all kinds of accessories.

Boy, is it small, but it feels like it's fairly good quality. I hope to do some fishing in Alaska and this camera will work well. Just think, being able to reel in a salmon while filming the action, can't wait. In a few weeks,  I may test this camera on my kayak. I will let you know how it goes. It may become my fishing camera!

Also, check-out all of the accessories. I believe that I could easily mount this camera to the cat and he would never know it.

Hey, paddle over to my website, LEOLAKES.com. I paint beautiful lake, river and bay decor maps. Folks are discovering that these decor maps are wonderfully unique lake house maps, that become family heirlooms. Oh yeah, I hide things in the lake waters, such as a tiny mermaid/fish. The Ocoee River.

Just finished this canvas map of the Ocoee River! I've actually rafted the Ocoee many years ago, it was too much fun. This river was used as the white water river in 1996 Olympics.

This map is framed in Barnwood. Oops, a couple of geese have flown off the map, that can happen with a Leo Lakes Treasured Map.

Interestingly, I often get comments about the tiny mermaid hidden in the waters of all my maps. Folks love to tell me about the search for the mermaid. They say the children really enjoy hunting for her and are thrilled when they spot her in the waters. Oh yeah, some folks tell me that she moves, but I'm not sure that I believe that. LeoLakes.com
Most folks add a star to a special place such as a lake house, river  house or where they caught that big fish. I've been doing lake, river and bay maps for approximately seven years. Over the years, I have experimented with different elements of map art in order to provide the best and most unique map on the market. Folks will be drawn to the map like a crackling fire on a cold winter night.  I try very hard to make my maps special by adding interest to the maps. Also, each framed map or map over 16x32, comes with a certificate of authenticity, lake poem, and interesting facts abut the map.

I have hundreds of maps on my website that can be purchased right from the site, or I can do custom and personalized vintage style lake maps, too. Lake maps will add beauty to your Lake House Decor! Find out more interesting facts about my treasured maps by going to LeoLakes.com
