J. Percy Priest Lake Fishing

My fishing buddy "Buttermilk" went fishing last Friday on J. Percy Priest Lake which is near Nashville TN. The temperature was 103 degrees, but that didn't stop the fish from biting. He texted me these pictures of some bass that he caught on a yellow & blue Bomber.

So far here in Nashville, our average high temperature for the past 10 days straight has been 104 and...... we are still fishing. We went fishing on Saturday to a different lake, however this fishing trip turned out to be an adventure for me. I will post this adventure at a later date. Remember: "Get away from the big screen and get on a big stream."

  1. With the weather you've having (ours is just starting to get hot) the proper kayak move is cast and then splash water on you, cast and splash water. Well, you get it.
